About
Why are buckets so hard to take apart?
- Injection-molded buckets are crafted with a slight taper and uniform wall thickness, ensuring a perfect match between the interior and exterior angles. The outer bucket expands, and the inner is compressed. This design, along with the material's elasticity, results in a secure grip due to friction.
- A near-perfect fit cause a minimal gap between buckets which restricts airflow. This makes it difficult for any air to enter between the buckets which cause a vacuum when trying to pull buckets apart.
These combined factors make it nearly impossible to pull apart a pair of identical plastic buckets once they've been firmly pressed together. It's a testament to the precision and engineering involved that creates such an unyielding bond.
